The Ford Flex is an older design, but it still holds its own in today’s market thanks to a solid chassis, a comfortable interior, and a cargo area with a lot of space to spare. If you’re looking for a solid SUV that can handle anything, have a look at what the 2019 Flex has to offer.

  1. Powerful Engines

While the 2019 Flex starts with a potent V-6 engine, you can really get the SUV moving with the available EcoBoost engine. This engine combines six cylinders with a twin turbocharger to boost horsepower from 287 to 365 and torque from 254 to 350 pound-feet. With the second engine, the Flex can tow up to 4,500 pounds.

  1. SYNC 3

Ford’s infotainment system is called SYNC 3, and it’s a big improvement over the original design. SYNC 3 comes standard on the SEL and Limited trims, giving you a solid, modern interface you can use for audio selection and the available navigation system.

  1. A Big Cargo Space

The boxy rear of the Flex is for more than just show. Despite having three seat rows, the Flex can fit 20 cubic feet in the back, and that goes all the way up to 83.2 cubic feet when you fold the back rows down.

The Ford Flex may be an older model, but people use it because it works and it has all the space and features they could want. Find out for yourself what the Flex can offer by test driving one at your local Ford dealership.
