Looking for a full-size sedan that combines everything you could want? Take a look at the 2019 Ford Taurus. The Taurus offers a smooth ride and plenty of interior space for a reasonable price, but Ford’s full-size car has more than that to offer interested buyers.

Heating Elements Everywhere

Depending on the trim, the 2019 Ford Taurus can be a very cozy car no matter how cold the weather is outside. Heated seats warm you up much faster than a regular heating system, and your hands will get warm right away thanks to a heated steering wheel. Even the back row can stay warm thanks to dedicated heating vents.

FordPass Compatibility

Your Ford Taurus comes with its own app: FordPass. FordPass helps you out by sending you reminders about your car’s service schedule, reserve parking spots at your destination, and check fuel prices. You can even use the app to pay for services at participating Ford dealerships.

A Sporty Option

The top trim for the 2019 Ford Taurus is the SHO. This trim brings out the sporty side of the Taurus by giving you a sport-tuned suspension, a special V-6 EcoBoost engine, and standard all-wheel drive. You also get unique badges both inside and out that let everyone know your car is an SHO.

People look for a full-size sedan when they want space, luxury, and great features without having to pay a luxury car’s price tag. The 2019 Taurus is a great option in the full-size class thanks to its convenient features and roomy interior.

The Ford Flex is an older design, but it still holds its own in today’s market thanks to a solid chassis, a comfortable interior, and a cargo area with a lot of space to spare. If you’re looking for a solid SUV that can handle anything, have a look at what the 2019 Flex has to offer.

  1. Powerful Engines

While the 2019 Flex starts with a potent V-6 engine, you can really get the SUV moving with the available EcoBoost engine. This engine combines six cylinders with a twin turbocharger to boost horsepower from 287 to 365 and torque from 254 to 350 pound-feet. With the second engine, the Flex can tow up to 4,500 pounds.

  1. SYNC 3

Ford’s infotainment system is called SYNC 3, and it’s a big improvement over the original design. SYNC 3 comes standard on the SEL and Limited trims, giving you a solid, modern interface you can use for audio selection and the available navigation system.

  1. A Big Cargo Space

The boxy rear of the Flex is for more than just show. Despite having three seat rows, the Flex can fit 20 cubic feet in the back, and that goes all the way up to 83.2 cubic feet when you fold the back rows down.

The Ford Flex may be an older model, but people use it because it works and it has all the space and features they could want. Find out for yourself what the Flex can offer by test driving one at your local Ford dealership.

Ford is during some amazing things with the Fusion lineup this year. Before you choose a trim level, you get the choice between three versions of the car — the standard Fusion, the hybrid version, and their electric plug-in hybrid Energi.

Standard Fusion

You can’t go wrong with the classic. The 2019 Ford Fusion is the most reasonably priced version on this list and carries with it the reliability the series is known for. What the classic Fusion has over its hybrid counterparts is its level of customization. Choose from five trim levels to get the perfect ride for you.

Fusion Hybrid

The gas-electric Fusion Hybrid gets 43 MPG in the city and 41 on the highway — the perfect way to save money at the pumps if you have a shorter commute. It comes in three trims: the SE, SEL, and Titanium. Each adds to the features of the last.

Fusion Energi

If you never want to go a gas station for anything besides potato chips again, the Fusion Energi is the version for you. It has an unheard-of 104 MPG in the city and 91 on the highway. The downside is there is only one trim level for the Energi: the Titanium. But if you’re looking for the best of the best in hybrids, the Energi is our pick.

Whenever you’re ready to explore the 2019 Fusion, give us a visit at Rusty Eck Ford. We’ll get you behind the wheel of the perfect Ford for you to test drive.

The 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is a marvel and a beast. It’s Ford’s magnum opus in the performance vehicle class with everything about it designed for speed and performance.

Our team at Rusty Eck Ford is a huge fan of Ford’s top performance car. We like to talk about it a little too much. Here are some of our favorite features that make the 2019 Shelby GT350 such a great car:

  1. Raw Horsepower

The Shelby has a 5.2-liter flat plane crank V-8 under the hood that gives is some serious juice — 526 horsepower at 7,500 rotations per minute and 429 pound-feet for torque at 4,750 rotations per minute. It can go from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds. That’ll lower your track lap time by a long shot. This year’s incarnation of the classic muscle car does nothing but impress.

  1. MagneRide Damping System

This system makes driving the Shelby GT350 a dream. When the conditions of the road change, the MagneRide Damping System adjusts to keep the drive smooth. MagneRide’s suspension technology responds to its environment to give the Shelby the best shock damping it can get.

  1. TREMEC Transmission

The ever-efficient six-speed manual TREMEC Transmission is specifically designed to keep up with performance vehicles and it does its job well. Smooth, exacting, precise — this transmission is a big part of what makes the Shelby perform so effortlessly.

Come down to Rusty Eck Ford and let’s talk cars. Maybe we can even find you your next trusty Ford.

While some people like driving sports cars, others enjoy upgrading a compact car into a true racing machine. Both the Focus ST and Fiesta ST trims give drivers a head start on making those upgrades since both are race-ready versions of Ford’s compact and subcompact cars. But which 2018 car is the best starting point?

Price

As you might expect, the smaller Fiesta comes with a smaller price tag. While both ST trims are more expensive than a non-sport trim, the Fiesta ST has an MSRP several thousand dollars lower than the Focus. If you have a low budget or you’d rather spend money on aftermarket parts, the Fiesta is a good choice.

Power

The two ST trims don’t run on the same engine. The heart of the Fiesta ST is a 1.6-liter I-4, and it uses a turbocharger to get 197 horsepower and 202 pound-feet of torque. The larger Focus ST has a bigger 2.0-liter engine, and it generates 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. That much extra power could make it worth the extra price.

Handling

While both vehicles are compacts, the Focus ST does a good job of feeling like a larger muscle car. That has its advantages, but it also means the Fiesta ST is easier to handle on tight corners.

Both the Focus ST and the Fiesta ST have their advantages, and they’re different enough that a performance-loving car buyer will have good reasons to pick one over the other. Why not visit Rusty Eck Ford and try them both before you decide?

The Ford Bronco was one of the original full-size SUVs, and for many decades it was essentially an F-150 with a built-in cap over the bed. Ford replaced it with the Expedition when four-door SUVs became popular, but now they’re bringing it back for the 2020 model year. The company is staying quiet about it for now, but thanks to a couple leaked pictures of the “baby Bronco,” the public does know a few things about the new design.

It Will Have a Retro Design

The first thing you can see from the leaked photos is that the sleek curves and sharp angles of modern car design are there, but they’re on a very blocky frame shape that deliberately calls back to the old Ford Bronco that kept its blocky design up through the 1990s. However, the different color stripes of the body, window level, and roof are a very modern touch.

It Will Be an Off-Road SUV

While many SUVs made by Ford and other companies are best at navigating city streets and paved highways, the 2020 Bronco will be one of the designs that really put the “sport” in sport utility vehicle. According to Ford, the Bronco will share design elements with the Ranger compact pickup truck, which means it’s sure to be rugged.

There’s not much to say about the new Ford Bronco yet, but it won’t be long before the company shares more about what it will bring to the market. Based on what we do know, the Bronco promises to follow its namesake by giving customers an off-road family vehicle.

With the 2019 Fiesta, Ford is bidding farewell to one of its most popular models. Let’s discuss what features will be included in the car’s last new model and why you should consider buying one before it’s too late.

Exterior Design

The 2019 Fiesta will be available as a hatchback or as a sedan. With 10 exterior colors to choose from, you’re sure to find the Fiesta that fits your style. You’ll also have a wide variety of wheel styles to choose from. For drivers who love to express their style on the road, the 2019 Fiesta is a perfect choice.

Interior

With soft materials, ambient lighting, and plenty of room for cargo, the 2019 Fiesta is designed with your comfort in mind. The optional Cold Weather Package makes your drive even cozier with heated front seats, automatic temperature control, and floor liners. The tech-friendly center console puts everything you need easily in reach.

ST-Line

For the 2019 Fiesta hatchback, Ford is introducing the ST-Line trim level, previously unavailable for the Fiesta line. The ST-Line comes equipped with a standard five-speed manual transmission. It will also feature an upgraded grille, black roof, rear spoiler, dual exhaust tips, and body kit. The ST-Line’s black 16-inch wheels and badging are sure to get attention on the road. As for the interior, the ST-Line includes red stitching on the cloth seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

You don’t want to miss out on the Fiesta’s last year, so be sure to take a test drive to check it out!

With MyMode, set your preferred drive, steering, and exhaust settings, and MyMode will remember them for your next drive. You can also check performance metrics and other vital information.

The FordPass allows you to remotely lock and unlock your Mustang. If your vehicle has automatic transmission, you can also remote start it. When it comes to five-passenger sport utility vehicles, Ford has two top choices: the 2018 Escape and the 2018 Edge. Take a look at these features to see which one is right for you.

Much to Like About the 2018 Ford Escape

The Escape is a compact SUV that features sporty handling and above-average cargo space. The Escape includes Ford’s signature grille along with fog lights and chrome elements on most trims. The Escape also comes standard with an LCD screen infotainment system. Base models come with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine yielding 168 horsepower, while the Titanium trim boasts a 245 horsepower engine.

Advantages of the 2018 Ford Edge

The Edge is slightly larger than the Escape. Its smooth ride emphasizes performance, style, and refinement with a sporty twist. All trims include a chrome grille, except for the Sport which has a black grille. The Edge’s taillights are sleeker than Escape’s, giving it a futuristic look. The Edge also includes an LCD screen infotainment system, but the Edge offers more cargo space than the Escape. The Edge is available in three different engines, with the base trims sporting the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder found in the top trims of the Escape. The SEL and Titanium can step up to a 3.5-liter engine yielding 280 horsepower.

Bottom line

If you’re looking for a lower price and practical design, the Escape is a safe, reliable ride for a reasonable price. If you seek more refinement and style as well as more powerful engines, the Edge may just be the ride for you.
